We live in the country. That means when the electricity goes off we have no water, can’t flush toilets etc. etc. After the derecho last year our basement flooded…twice. Living in chronic fear of electrical outages is no fun. Our neighbour recommend SMR Electric to get a whole home generator installed as they had done fantastic work for her. From the minute we contacted SMR to yesterday when our brand new generator was fully installed, we had excellent, prompt and professional service. I highly recommend SMR for any work you need doing. If you have mulled over getting a whole home generator, I suggest getting professionals to do it. Cannot say enough good things about this company. Choose them with the security of knowing they will not disappoint. Thank you so much Scott and the whole team.

SMR Electric guys were prompt, efficient, professional and provided excellent service overall. Wouldn't hesitate to use them again! Update: We called on SMR to do another project (replacement of existing smoke & carbon-monoxide detectors with a wired google nest system). Rod, the electrician from SMR Electric did a fantastic job. This company stands by their reputation for customer service. They wired our new house build 3 years ago and I had a concern about an outside plug... they came out checked every outside plug to make sure all was good...there was no problem and I so appreciated how quickly they responded to my concern. Highly professional, customer service, I will recommend them to anyone looking for a quality electrical company.

We've used SMR twice now. The first time they installed a generlink connector to our hydro meter. Just recently we had them install a bathroom fan and a double switch, among a few other electrical projects around the house. Both times they had fantastic communication and we've been very happy with their work.
